Retail is always way ahead of us and sometimes its disheartening when you go shopping. Of course when it comes down to the wire you already have a good idea where everything you want is. Getting back into the school groove is an exciting time though

But I have not been able to get it all in yet. For me it seems summer has just begun.

Into July already and its time to plan those getaways and summer vacations

A big congratulations to all our graduates. On to a season of fun.......... community festivals, ice cream, the lake, or walking along a park trail. Whatever it is you find fun do it

Nothing like a June bride

Hey! Dads can have a really tough role in the family experience. He can be all tied up dangling like a puppet on strings with no seemingly way to get much of anything really accomplished. Yet some how some way, not always as perfectly as its probably expected, but family life goes on. Do whatever you can for dad this year.

Remember Mother. Honor mother today or someone in your life that you feel may have taken on that mothering role when you needed it. I believe we need our mothers no matter what our age. Its not about our mother having something in common with us or being that perfect role model you may have wanted. Find a kind word, a card, flowers or something to just let your mother know you are grateful and thankful for the pure fact that she is MOTHER

Plant a tree. Earth day celebrates nature and all its gifts. Plant a tree and keep the circle of abundant life going

Easter brings many traditions. Even those that are not religiously devout make this a time to honor.
Of course one of my favorite traditions is the Easter egg coloring. Easter time includes fun as well.
